Kentucky Mirror + Plate Glass is a full-service commercial and residential glass facility headquartered in Louisville, KY with two other locations in Owensboro and Bowling Green.

Founded in 1905 as Kentucky Mirror Works, KMPG has evolved into an industry leader in the Kentucky area while remaining a family-owned operation. 1945

KPMG's Beginnings

David Gradman acquired Kentucky Mirror Works, a company that focused on intricate mirror engraving for Fort Knox.

1967

Focus

Alec Spielberg, David's son-in-law, joined the business as a salesman and shifted focus to commercial breakages, glazing, residential mirrors, and showers.

1980's

Expansion

Alec's sons, Jeff and Gregg Spielberg, have contributed to the growth and evolution of the company to its current stature.

Present

Evolution

Now David and Jacob Spielberg, their sons, are working to continue the legacy set by the previous generations. David is concentrating on commercial and exterior projects, while Jacob specializes in residential and interior tasks.
